The Committee Against Torture is ready to provide assistance in case of illegal use of violence during the protest rallies

On 23 January 2020, lawyers with the Committee Against Torture will be monitoring protest rallies in several regions of the country in order to register potential human rights violations. If illegal violence is applied against the rallies’ participants by the law-enforcement officers, human rights defenders will be ready to provide assistance to the victims.
