    Today the Nizhegorodskiy district court of Nizhny Novgorod trying the case against investigation officer Sergey Biryukov from the Nizhegorodskiy district Directorate of the Interior charged with abuse of powers – battery of an Azerbaijani citizen, Emil Dadashov supported by the Interregional Committee against Torture – has sustained the motion of the defense to re-cross-examine one of the witnesses.  

Judge Pyryev has sustained the motion. The witness will be questioned during tomorrow’s court session and the oral hearing that was scheduled for 16 March is postponed till 23 March, 10 a.m.
