Today lawyer Ms. Larisa Volosenkova applied to the Committee against Torture claiming that she had been violently treated by the Sarov police department staff. The Committee against Torture supposes that the police abuse was triggered by Ms. Volosenkova’s activity in the sphere of human rights protection. She represents the interests of the Committee applicants in a number of cases and public investigations. At present the Committee against Torture checks the application.
