In 2011 I’ve Got Rights project in partnership with  the Glasnost Defense Foundation (Moscow),  Press Development Institute – Siberia (Novosibirsk),  Media Rights Protection Center (Voronezh), Center for Journalist Technologies (Nizhniy Novgorod), and Perm branch of the Journalists Union (Perm) conduct a Journalists Contest “I, You, We – Have Rights”.   August 30 is the deadline for applying for participation in the 2011 “I, You, We – Have Rights” Contest

 August 30 is the deadline for submitting human rights educational and awareness materials. Materials submitted to the contest must have been published or aired between the period from September 1, 2010 through 30 August 2011. Winners will be chosen by an independent jury consisting of journalists and human rights specialists. Journalists and human rights defenders will have a chance to participate in workshops, discussions on the regional and interregional level in autumn 2011 in Moscow.    Works for the “I, You, We Have Rights” contest will be reviewed in the following categories:1. Publications in printed mass media—articles or a series of articles2. Thematic periodicals in printed media—newspapers, magazines3. TV shows or video episodes on television4. Radio shows5. Internet publications—not the doubles of printed media6. Social networks on the Internet—blogs, LiveJournal, etc. Contest territory: 1. The Voronezh, Belgorod, Tambov and Kursk regions2. The Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan regions, the Mari El republic and the republic of Tatarstan3. The Novosibirsk, Altai, Tomsk and Kemerovo regions4. The Perm region, Sverdlovsk, Kirov regions, and the Udmurt republic   Application Contest regulations
