Council members Igor Kalyapin and Elena Masyuk and also the Council’s expert Vladimir Rubashny started in Bereznyaki town of Perm krai the work group field session on supporting PMC and the penal system reform.

The day before they held a meeting in Perm with Viktor Basargin, the Governor of the Perm krai, Alexander Belih, the prosecutor of the Perm krai, Marina Zabbarova, the head of the ID of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Perm krai, Alexander Sokolov, the head of the Main Department of Federal Penal Service, and Tatiana Margolina, the Ombudsman of Perm krai.

Today and tomorrow the members of the work group are eager to visit Penal Colony-28, Penal Colony-38 and several other institutions of the Main Department of Federal Penal Service in Perm krai.
