Public Lecture "Defending Citizens' Rights in Court" will be held in Nizhny Novgorod

On 26 September 2012 within the framework of the project «Open Hall – Providing Access to Justice» the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court’s judge Roman Yartsev holds a public lecture «Defending Citizens’ Rights in Court».

The lecture will be focused on such issues as effective defending rights and freedoms of man and citizen in criminal proceedings, the procedure for examining criminal cases in courts of all instances, and problems of exercising the rights of participants of criminal proceedings.

The speaker will dwell on typical mistakes made in the course of criminal proceeding with examples from judicial practice. Everyone present for the lecture will have an opportunity to ask questions and receive qualified answers to them.

The lecture starts at 10:00 a.m. on 26 September 2013 in Nizhny Novgorod State Regional Children Library (5 Zvezdinka str.).

Everyone is invited to participate. The lecture is free.
