This morning in the Nizhny Novgorod regional court there was be a briefing for mass media and a presentation of the Analytical report based on the results of the study conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre «Evaluation of courts performance by the population of Nizhny Novgorod region».

The Committee against Torture requested this research.

and Vice-chairman of the Committee against Torture, lawyer, expert in international protection Ms. Olga Sadovskaya

told the participants about the results of the sociological study, gave their opinion on the operation of the judicial system in Nizhny Novgorod, its problems and prospective and answered numerous questions of the reporters.
