Yesterday, in the framework of the annual OSCE Review Conference the Interregional Committee Against Torture took part in the working session devoted to tortures and executions. The use of torture is still one of the most important problems in Russia. But the most unfortunate situation is recorded in Chechnya where tortures, killings and abductions take place on a regular basis and have become a routine practice.
