The City Prosecutor’s Office of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region, is investigating the criminal case of Vladimir Polyashov, an artist, who was beaten by policemen of 2 company of detached battalion of field service officers of the Dzerzhinsk Police Department. The investigators from the Dzerzhinsk Prosecutor’s Office organized confrontation between the policeman, who is charged with unjustified use of force, and the artist. The advocate granted to Vladimir Polyashov by the Committee Against Torture was also present at the confrontation.
