On 26 March 2007 at 10 a.m. the Sechenovo District Court (Nizhny Novgorod Region) will pass the sentence upon the policemen of Sechenovo District Police Station (ROVD) Mrs. I. Aymaletdinov, A. Sergeev and S. Shakirov charged with the unlawful use of physical force in respect of Gennady Denisov. Before the sentence will be passed the accused, in accordance with the law, will be given the right of a final plea. The NN Committee Against Torture whereto the victim applied in his time has carried out an unofficial investigation and taken all the necessary measures to initiate legal proceedings and now is providing the victim with legal aid.
