Today Yoshkar-Ola city court obliged the RF Ministry of Finance to pay Denis Darovskih  who together with his friend Aplekayev was savagely beaten by policemen in December 2004 nine thousand rubles as a compensation for moral damage.

We would like to remind you that on November 23 the court awarded Andrey Aplekayev 15000 rubles.

The public investigation of the case upon the application of Aplekayev and Darovskih was carried out by the Committee against Torture together with the “Public Verdict” Foundation (Moscow) and regional NGO “Man and Law”.
