We would like you remind you that at the end of July 2009 the Chechen representation of the Interregional Committee Against Torture received an application from residents of Grebenskaya, Shelkovsky district of Chechnya, who claimed that their relatives – Rustam Eskerkhanov and Lom-Ali Ezerbiyev – had been killed by the police. The Committee lawyers conducted a public investigation and represented the victims’ interests during the pre-trial investigation and in court.
