Tomorrow, on 4 July 2007 at 3 p.m. the Sechenovo District Court (Nizhny Novgorod region) brings in its sentence on three policemen of the Sechenovo District Police Station – Mr. I. Aymaletdinov, Mr. A. Sergeev and Mr. S. Shakirov – who were charged with the unlawful use of physical force against Gennady Denisov. The NN Committee Against Torture, to which the victim applied at a relevant time, carried out a public investigation, strived for bringing the case before a court and is now granting the victim legal aid. Lawyer of the Committee Yuri Sidorov represents the interests of Gennady Denisov. The Public Verdict Foundation (Moscow) has also contributed a lot for the advocacy of the victim.
